本书首先梳理前人对双语阅读和发展的相关文献;在此基础上,整合前期研究成果和国际上阅读困难的筛查工具,筛选出具有鉴别力的汉英两种语言的阅读及阅读相关的认知和元认知加工技能的测查工具;对各测查进行预实验,最终生成实证研究使用的阅读、认知、元认知技能测查工具,对我国大学生的汉语母语者的英语阅读发展和阅读加工进行系列的实验研究。

薛锦,博士,教授。曾工作于北京第二外国语学院英语学院,现工作于北京科技大学外国语学院英语语言文学系。研究领域为心理语言学、二语习得、双语加工的认知神经机制。已出版专著3部,参编教材1部,在靠前外核心期刊上发表论文30多篇(其中13篇CSSCI,4篇SSCI索引,4篇SCI索引),发表的期刊如:Brain Research,Cognitive Processing,Psychop hysiology,Journal of Psycholinguistic Research,Neuroscience Letters,Language Problems and Language Planning,Experimental Brain Research,《外语研究》,《外语界》,《北京师范大学学报》,《中国特殊教育》,《心理发展与教育》等核心期刊。
